Auto insurance differs greatly between countries states and regions. So do not be surprised if you have to do some readjustments to your old policy or take out a new one altogether.
Some items of note are to check how your car model will impact your premiums; if you can pay the premium up front as it may simplify the process and save you some money; and if you are changing insurers make sure to cancel your old one but to do so at a specific time so that there is not a gap between starting with your new insurer.
