Renting furniture is a great option for those who are moving in the short-term and perhaps renting out their own furnished apartment or house in their city of origin. Or perhaps you are renting furniture because it is your first home and you can not decide between fabrics and colours and so want to rent for the short-term so you can mix and match.
Whatever the reason, renting furniture can be a quick and relatively painless exercise if you remember some basic tips. For example, make sure you understand the terms of the agreement as they pertain to wear and tear of the furniture. Double-check that the furniture is not used if the dealer states that it is brand new. And do not get locked-in to a rent-to-own contract if it does not pertain to your situation.
